Dr. Suhit Shah entered the field of medicine through medical entrance after passing with flying colors. During his MBBS, he was awarded with many state level quizzes and even got an opportunity to take transfer to B.J. Medical college, Ahmedabad; one of the best institute of the country. As he had keen intrest in surgical branch especially the mechanical part of surgery; he opted for Orthopedics Surgery. During M.S. course, he had opportunity to perform various types of interesting and complicated surgeries; which inclined his intrest towards the field of sports medicine. After completion of M.S. course, he went for Fellowship in Arthroscopy from Mumbai after which many cases were performed at Ahmedabad; after which he persued Diploma in FIFA Medicine from the world renowned Dr. Michel D’Hooghe, Chairman FIFA Medical Committee.
Intrest towards Spine led him to persue Fellowship in Spine surgery from Ahmedabad. He went for observation under Dr. Amit Jhala sir, where exposure of a lot of complex and difficult spine cases were seen.
His Academic journey didn’t stop here; he also underwent Fellowship in Arthroplasty from MAX Hospital, Delhi under Dr. S.K.S. Marya with clinical rotation in Microplasty. Dr. Marya is one of the pionners of Replacement in Delhi and a very reputed surgeon in India. Recently training in ILLIZAROV technique by Russian Method has been completed from Solapur under the best Dr. Sandeep Adke which has been a major help in treating complex trauma cases.
Dr. Suhit Shah has now performed more than 5000+ surgeries in various fields of Spine, Sports Medicine, complex trauma and Replacement.
He is frequently visiting international and national conferences to be updated in his field of intrest. He has also delivered lectures in many state and national level conferences.
